Picking Out the Perfect Travel Outfit

Garment Guard adhesive underarm sweat pads for travel

Ah yes, it’s finally that time of the year when we can rejoice about warm weather and vacationing to even warmer destinations. If you’re anything like me, packing for any trip can sometimes be overwhelming. The process of getting through the airport and checking in for your flight can be such a hassle in itself, so I thought: ‘why not look chic while doing it?’

Don’t get me wrong, I love being comfy while I’m on the go. But for the ladies who want to put a little extra oomph in their travel outfit, I’ve got you covered. Here are some of my tips on picking out the right pieces for your next excursion.

Start by creating a packing plan.

Pick a color scheme for your trip to ease the process of matching up a ton of different pieces. If you’re on your way to a tropical destination, stick with a solid palette that includes whites, a few pops of color and funky print. This way, you avoid overpacking shoes and accessories, and you get more room in your suitcase.

Be mindful of your fabric choices.

Synthetic fabrics like nylon and rayon are the easiest to remove stains from. Consider synthetic clothing options to ease the process of doing laundry while you’re abroad, or if you have a spill while 30,000 feet up.

Have your toolkit handy.

Accidents happen. Or sometimes, full on wardrobe malfunctions happen. That's why I'm always prepared with all the necessities I need in my fashion toolkit. Use Garment Guard to prevent gross sweat stains, and have your heels be foolproof with gel cushions and heel savers.
